Appearance Information

The Buffalo Jills Cheerleaders appear at events all over Western New York, nationally and internationally. The Jills also participate in a variety of charity appearances connected with the Buffalo Bills organization. The Jills are trained in professional etiquette and are great at helping out with meet & greet, sit & sign, working with children, posing for photographs, signing autographs and even dance performances! Due to the costs associated with scheduling & traveling, all of our appearance requests do have fees associated with them as you will see below. Additionally, all of our appearances do require a 1-hour minimum booking.

If you are interested in requesting Jills for your event, please click on the Appearance Request Form, complete it, and email it to the coordinator:

Corporate events, Trade shows, Expos, Grand Openings, Golf Tournaments, Bars/Restaurants:
$150 per hour, per cheerleader

The above with multiple bookings at one time or extended lengths of time.  
I.e. Three Monday night football games or appearances lasting over 5 hours.
$100 per hour, per cheerleader.

Community events and 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations:
$75 per hour, per cheerleader.

School & hospital visits:
Fulfilled voluntarily as availability permits for a 1-hour time frame.

Travel expenses:
.59 per mile, per vehicle for events more than 20 minutes outside the Ralph Wilson Stadium address. TBD by MapQuest using the address. One Bills Drive, Orchard Park, NY 14127. Additionally, any tolls and parking must be covered be covered by client.

Hotel accommodations:
need to be reserved for appearances more than 2- hours drive time outside of Western New York. (2-4 cheerleaders per room)

should be provided for cheerleaders requiring overnight stays and/or appearances lasting more than 5 hours.

all parking fees need to be covered by client. This can be included in billing.

may need to be provided for cheerleaders if appearing with large groups. This will be determined on a case by case basis.

Business checks or credit card payments (MasterCard and Visa only) can be made through the Jills managing company, Stejon Productions. Personal checks will only be accepted if given time to clear prior to event date. Canadian checks must be stated in “American Funds”.

  • All appearance fees must be paid in full PRIOR to event date. If payment is not confirmed, cheerleaders will not appear at event.

The NFL Buffalo Jills Cheerleaders hold open workshops and auditions for cheerleaders, dancers & models beginning Tuesday, March 5th. Jills Director, Stephanie Mateczun, Nichole Ranney our Coordinator and well-known Choreographer, Kelli Wagner, insure that the Jills are in top-notch shape for game day performances as well as appearances. In addition to mandatory practices two times a week (Tues & Thurs, 6:30-10:00pm) and their full time work and/or school schedules, the Jills participate in a variety of community events that involve the Buffalo Bills, area businesses and numerous charities. The Jills also host three (3) popular Jr Jills programs for young cheerleaders/dancers, a Jill’s golf tournament and other great events throughout the Western New York area. The minimum requirement for auditions is that each young lady needs to be at least 18 years old by the first physical workshop they attend in March. There is no age limit!

What is an “Ambassador” Jill?

The minimum requirement for a Buffalo Jill is that you must be at least 18 years of age by auditions in March on our first audition date. See “audition info” on our website for details.

As part of our responsibility to our community and sponsors, public and game day appearances have become an increasingly important part of being a Buffalo Jill. Due to the numerous appearance requests, it has become necessary to assemble an elite squad strictly for appearances and event participation.

An Ambassador Jill is a non-performing Jill and is selected specifically for her outstanding ability to professionally mingle & converse with others. Ambassador Jills are expected to adhere the same physique requirements as the Dance squad. Approximately 8-10 girls are selected for this squad. Ambassador Jills are called upon frequently to participate in many community, charity, sponsor, media and corporate events. Ambassador Jills are required to attend and work ALL Buffalo Bills home games. Ambassador Jills are held to the same high standards as the Dance squad and are required to follow the same rules and regulations.

Ambassador Jills are required to attend meetings/practices that are held every Tuesday evening from the time of auditions and throughout the season. These meetings are mandatory.

Ambassador Jills are included the annual team photo and also receive the opportunity to be in the annual swimsuit/fashion calendar. Ambassador Jills also participate in local & international military visits. An Ambassador Jill is a Buffalo Jills Cheerleader in every sense with the only exception of dance performances. Additionally, Ambassador’s receive the same compensation & benefits as the Dancer Jills.
